I dropped my kids off at my folks today. I came home and pretended I was a house cleaner and hit my house like it was my job. Because it is.
And then I went out to the garden, picked some green tomatoes and knocked something off my bucket list: I ate Fried Green Tomatoes while watching Fried Green Tomatoes.
It was everything I had hoped and more. If there are any other fans of Idgie Threadgoode out there let me know and I'll invite you over next time.

Love that movie! Idgie was always my pretend name growing up...which weirdly means I either watched the movie young or played pretend for a little too long, ha! :)

I love that your name was Idgie. I decided that when we get another hen, I'll name her Idgie Threadgoode. I'm already excited to hear Ivar say it.
...and here's to playing pretend! I played with my barbie's WAY longer than I could ever admit and still be half way cool. Truth be told, I'd have a barbie wedding this afternoon if I had a friend coming over to "play" :)
