loads of laundry

Adding a child to the family and moving houses has caused a few necessary adjustments in how we live our daily life. But the thing that I am having the most trouble getting used to is the laundry.

Holy moly. It blows my mind. Adding a tiny baby and moving to the farm has somehow quadrupled my weekly laundry. We all get dirty and sweaty outside and often each require two outfits a day. And we girls seem to have a knack for covering ourselves in spit up which also requires a costume change. Rory and I sometimes shower twice a day, depending on what project he is working on outside and how stinky my hair is after a day of spit up. So towels are always running out too.

It's amazing.

Just thought I'd share.

just catching up on reading your blog. Elsie is so pretty and looking more and more like Ivar to me. And he's just as cute as ever.
My laundry doubled when Elowen was born. Between the diapers and the spit-up on her and me and the blankets, i have to wash laundry every day now, where I could get away with 2 or 3 times a week before. Just from adding one tiny little person!
Your posts of family are so precious, really makes me wish we lived near family. *Sniff* I want my mommy!

Hi Becca! This post hit really close to home! Just the other night, Matt & I were folding laundry while watching tv, and we looked at each other and said "Didn't we just do this a few days ago??" IT NEVER ENDS!!!! Which makes it so sweet when other people, like your Aunts, do it for you!!

It sounds like you are doing well as a family of FOUR!!! It's so fun watching your family grow!!
